The 2006 campaign is underway. Me and some of my fellow YD's got our first taste of canvassing after a year off, and we were very pleasantly suprised by how well it went. The precinct we started on is part of a tough state house district, but the condo development we hit seemed to be solidly in our demographic range. We had a walk list with specific addresses from the voter file, but even those that didn't match the voter file were still very positive for us. Of course, that probably means the rest of the precinct is a scary place, but we have something to work with, oh yes.
